Role and Responsibilities

The essential roles and responsibilities are outlined below:

• Determine Capital Project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet all the customer’s facilities requirements.
• Coordinate with sales to provide data needed to assemble project estimate.
• Coordinate project specific engineering.
• Develop scope of work and project specifications.
• Supervise the work of technicians and helpers.
• Organize, plan, schedule and delegate work, labor and equipment.
• Coordinate project schedule.
• Work with engineering to determine equipment specifications and procure materials.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders for subcontractors.
• Approve invoices.
• Provide complete closeout documentation and warranty coverage.
• Responsible for reviewing and maintaining cost estimates of material, sub-contractors, purchased equipment and other project related activities.
• Work with engineering on the specification and pricing of purchased equipment to ensure accuracy of quantity, size, configuration, voltage, options etc.
• Optimizes job costs by negotiating prices with vendors/sub-contractors.
• Document work by maintaining files for each job.
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Successful candidate must possess an associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college, military training or technical school with a minimum of 5 years ‘experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, to include:
  • Chilled water systems.
  • Boilers.
  • Domestic water systems.
  • Package, VAV, and split systems.
  • Air distribution systems.
  • Exhaust and makeup air.
• Previous experience managing a team.
• Preferred experience with PPE a plus
• EPA Certification
• Mechanical contractor’s license a plus

Key Requirements

• Microsoft 365 Products
• Random drug testing required.
• Appointment to this position may require a background investigation.
• Valid driver’s license.
