Role and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies for Fire & Security systems and services, prospecting, and developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
The essential roles and responsibilities are outlined below:
Develop new and maintain existing end user relationships specifically for the Security Division in the Greenville and Upstate areas.
Maintain active customer relationships through direct customer visits, calls, and communication.
Drive our Security Service to Sales initiative through selling service/monitoring contracts to new and existing customers.
Use account management and customer relationships to drive security sales directly to the end user.
Identify and develop security sales opportunities directly with end users.
Work with our estimating department to generate estimates and turn estimates into proposals.
Present proposals to customers and end users for approval.
Track proposal status in CRM software.
Upon approval, work with Service Administration to set work up and scheduled for completion.
Work with parts suppliers to get quotes for security parts.
Work with end users on capital budgets, pathways to technology migration, and technology refresh plans.
Work closely with operations/installation/service departments to manage customer expectations about delivery and installation timelines.
Work with accounting department to ensure timely billing and payment objectives are achieved.
Work closely with service/installation departments to target any opportunities that arise from work being completed.
Work towards developing and achieving sales goals and sales funnel management with direct supervisor.
Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Associate's degree or combination of work experience and education will be considered
Strong communication and organization skills.
Cold calling, Customer service, Inside/Outside Sales account management and field sales support experience required
Detail oriented.
Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal direction
Ability to coordinate sales order requirements with internal and external customers
Strong work ethic.
Proficient with all Microsoft Office related products.
Must successfully pass a background check and obtain or keep current a Security License for the state of NC.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of two years experience in the construction and or security industries.
Sales Support experience is preferred.
Two years CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.)Additional Notes:
