Role and Responsibilities
- Track inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and ensure optimal stock levels are always maintained.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Assist in ordering products and supplies based on stock levels, demand forecasts, and sales trends to ensure product availability.
- Update inventory management systems with accurate information regarding product quantities, locations, and product details.
- Generate regular reports on inventory status, including stock levels, discrepancies, and order status, and communicate findings to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes, reduce discrepancies, and increase efficiency.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure proper handling and storage of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
- Ensure all inventory practices comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Two to Five years of proven experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
- Familiarity with inventory management software & Microsoft Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics practices is a plus.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
- Able to drive box truck (not required but preferred)
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching, and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25-50 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC). Work Environment: Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places.
