Special Projects Coordinator

Role and Responsibilities

The job duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate with other departments to plan, develop, and implement special projects such as training programs and other projects related to internal processes and procedures.
  • Implement financial and key business metric reporting through programs such as Power BI.
  • Participate in software implementation projects with a focus on business processes.
  • Prepare and present project proposals and progress reports to leadership.
  • Ensure timely completion of project tasks and objectives within budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform project decision-making and outcomes.
  • Coordinate project logistics, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Communicate with department leaders to gather feedback and keep them informed of project status.
  • Facilitate meetings to gather input and promote collaboration among project team members.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and recommend improvements for future projects.
  • Maintain project documentation and archives for future reference and evaluation.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Physical Demands: Constant sitting, walking short distances, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above and/or below shoulder, handling/grasping documents or office equipment, clear speaking and adequate hearing sufficient to communicate effectively and respond appropriately in-person and/or on the telephone, vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screen data, repetitive motions for computer equipment use, lift 25 lbs. occasionally, 5-10 lbs. frequently to lift/carry/move objects, files and documents.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Work Environment: Work is performed in an office environment with air conditioning and bright lights.
